Eight junior high school students, an English teacher, and a city officer from Shiroishi City in Miyagi prefecture visited Australia as a delegation of friendship, and on 30 July they visited the CLAIR Sydney office.
During their time here, these students were able to learn about the differences between Australian and Japanese culture firsthand by participating in a homestay in Cowra, NSW before visiting the CLAIR Sydney office.
Their deep interest in Australia was apparent in the way they asked insightful questions about Sydney’s water levels, and Australia’s population distribution and lifestyle.
CLAIR Sydney will continue to support exchange activities between Japanese schools and Australia.
