On 2 November, staff from Chiba Prefectural government’s Tourism Promotion division visited CLAIR Sydney. They are currently working on the promotion of educational tours and school exchange programs, and they gave us a detailed explanation of their current situation. As the prefecture has been conducting educational tours for some time now, we suggested that it would be more effective to promote activities such as Japanese cultural experience packages and to foster wide ranging cooperation with adjacent cities in Chiba that could possibly become new destinations for future exchange programs.
