On 17 November, CLAIR Sydney attended the JET Programme Returnees Reception and Career Event which was held by JETAA Vic/Tas/SA. During the Career Event, which was held right before the reception, JETAA members gave the JET returnees advice about job hunting. Ms Haneda, Consul-General of Japan in Melbourne; Ms Graley, Parliamentary Secretary for Education of Victoria; Mr Battin, Shadow Minister for Emergency Services & for the Environment of Victoria; Mr Angus, Shadow Parliamentary Secretary to the Shadow Treasurer; and Ms Libbis, the President of JETAA Vic/Tas/SA, made speeches to start off the reception. After that, the JET returnees introduced themselves and Mr Crang made a speech on behalf of all of them. Also, Mr Kamibo, the Director of CLAIR Sydney, made a speech and encouraged the returnees to join JETAA.
