Kumamoto is famous for Kumamoto castle. Kumamoto city promoted their tourist destinations at Matsuri in Sydney and CLAIR was there to assist. Kumamoto is very easy to access from either Australia or New Zealand via Narita or Haneda Airport in Tokyo.
Kumamoto Omotenashi Bushotai (Japanese samurai performers) also made an appearance to help promote tourism in Kumamoto. The visitors were all very impressed!
