Farewell Receptions for the 2016 JET Programme participants were held by the Consul-Generals at their respective residences (On 19 July: Sydney, 20: Melbourne, 22: Brisbane). Each cities’ Japanese Consul-Generals gave a speech and speeches were also made by new JET participants.
CLAIR Sydney also gave a speech at the Melbourne and Brisbane reception. JETAA gave some advice to the new JETs based on their experiences. The new JETs were able to rid themselves of a few pre-flight jitters as they talked with various people at the reception.
