On 2 November, a group of junior high school students from Sannohe town in Aomori prefecture visited our office. Sannohe has a sister city relationship with Tamworth in New South Wales. The students took part in a study tour and home stay program in Tamworth and stopped by our office upon their return to Sydney. A member of our staff from Aomori prefecture made a presentation about Australia for the students and also described the role of CLAIR. Despite being a bit tired from their long trip, the students asked a lot of questions about Australia. We hope this experience will ignite their interest in international relations and life overseas.
